A clear, shallow forest stream flows diagonally across the image from the lower left toward the upper right. The water is transparent, allowing the viewer to see smooth rocks and small pebbles scattered along the streambed. Several larger stones rise above the surface, some covered in soft, green moss that hints at long‑standing moisture and shade. The stream is bordered by uneven, rocky edges and patches of earth, creating a natural, unmanicured shoreline. On both sides of the water, tall trees form a dense woodland. Their trunks are mostly straight and vertical, with branches extending outward and upward. The leaves range from bright green to warm yellow, suggesting early autumn when some foliage has begun to change color but the canopy is still largely full. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled light and shadow across the forest floor and the surface of the stream. Reflections of the trees and sky shimmer faintly in the water, adding a subtle, mirrored layer to the scene.
