I (hopefully) passed a fuck you exam (25% of my grade...) got told that my piece in my fiction writing class was the best of my group, and started planning a new WIP, so I'm pretty happy with everything. 😀

Physical Health: Frustrating. My body fucking hates me being happy.

Mental Health: Surprisingly alright! The streams I did on twitch for Little King’s Story really helped. Awesome people in that community.

This week saw actual progress again on #Cursed! Some actual words were added to the manuscript, and a *lot* of thinking was done. We've made some changes that might seem small but will impact the story and its uniqueness in BIG ways :D I'm excited to be back (again)

Had a pretty low-motivation week. Started formatting WIP 2 for next year. I think at this rate my expected May release window is highly doable. Vitrified is all ready for release. Waiting on someone's comms to open for something a little special planned post-Vitrified.

I have had a quiet week getting over a nasty cold, but today I'm at a romantasy festival in Newcastle and having a lovely time!

I've sold a few books and handwritten a bunch of pages whilst sitting at my table too 🥰

I survived the busy week! Friday was really rough on me though so I'm hoping to get some work done today instead. Other things I did:

As Askaly worked on her sketches, she stood and carefully approached the monk—not so that Sonya wouldn’t notice it, but to give her plenty of time to show her displeasure in case she didn’t want the company. Surprisingly, that didn’t happen. “So… you didn’t get lost in the woods,” Askaly said. When no answer came, she tried again, “Found any big bad wolves?” Sonya frowned at her. “Are you seriously referencing Little Red Riding Hood?” “It was the first Earthrealm story ỏma told me…” Askaly shrugged. “I didn’t understand it.” “You didn’t understand it?” “It didn’t make sense to me why the girl would walk through the woods, or why her grandma would build a house in the woods in the first place. Then ỏma explained that humans are wingless, and I thought”—she laughed, unable to contain that note of bitterness—“what a strange species, to be born without wings.”
