It's been a long time since we could say this....it's GAME DAY! The pre-season contests get underway with a visit from the Preds. #GoBolts

#GoBolts captain Victor Hedman on playing his first game tonight since March 19: “It’ll be fun. You can practice all you want, but you want to get into game action, so it will be a good test to see where I'm at. But I’m super excited.”

Benjamin Rautiainen on seeing his name on a #GoBolts game jersey before his first preseason game: “It’s going to be special, for sure. First time, you’ll always remember that.”

His parents are visiting Tampa for the first time and will be here tonight.

We’re back! Morning skate is about to begin before tonight’s #GoBolts preseason opener vs. Nashville.

Geekie and Point the first players on the ice today.

Today’s #GoBolts game group for preseason opener against Nashville, lot of veterans in the lineup, plus Sam O’Reilly and Benjamin Rautiainen, puck drop scheduled for 5 pm. Listen in on @BoltsRadio as I’ll once again be a part of the broadcast team throughout the season

Here are your groups for #GoBolts training camp today.

The lineup for tonight’s preseason opener looks to be mostly NHLers. We’ll also see some prospects in O’Reilly, Rautiainen, Kulebiakin and Czata.

Sam O'Reilly was the only skater in Group A on Saturday without an NHL appearance. At 20, he's making a case for that to change this season, and #GoBolts including Brayden Point are noticing.

"It's been exciting to watch"
