Having lunch, and look up to the ceiling, as you do, and there’s a (the) Vestal sitting up there watching me.

I released yesterday’s Moth out of the window, so it’s possibly returned, but equally could be a new Moth.

Are they known for their homing abilities?

Clancy's Rustic seems to have moved into Cardiff - this is my second in a week. Another species on the move from last night's trap was Spiny Hook-tip, my first of the year. 20 species in total in the MV trap.

31:14 on another rainy night. I don’t usually trap in wet weather but I used an extra Perspex cover. The trap was dry this morning but there weren’t a lot in it!
A nicely coloured Turnip and Black Rustics, Barred Sallows and Large Ranunculusses again
