HT: Villa are level with Brentford at the break. Jackson equalised two minutes after Yarmolyuk's opener. A stop-start first half, with Brentford committing 12 fouls. Kelleher made a great save to deny McGinn with nearly the last kick before half-time.

Oh fuck off, ref. Clear as day dive. #AVFC #UTV

Manzambi looked good there #AVFC

Got to be getting that on target, Nick! 🤦‍♂️ #AVFC #UTV

5 minutes added. That's just for the amount of time we've had to wait for Brentford to take their throw-ins. #AVFC #UTV

Let him die let him die let him die! #AVFC #UTV

McGinn doing a great job of getting in the ref’s ear - and this is the game for it.

This throw in nonsense is ridiculous #AVFC

Double standards once again. #AVFC #UTV

Where on earth is the foul there #AVFC

How didn't Mings score there?! #AVFC

🟨 Yellow Card 35' — Igor Thiago (Brentford). Aston Villa 1–1 Brentford. Premier League

#avfc #brentford #premierleague

Wheeeey, he's found his cards. About fucking time. Coward. #AVFC #UTV

Feels like a game that Brentford prefer and play more. Emery would rather have a slower, more controlled match with fewer turnovers, though the best chances are coming on transition. #AVFC

The cheap turn overs are hurting us - not just out of defence (as for the Brentford goal), but those are particularly damaging.

It’s not always the fault of the player with the ball - at times there is not enough movement off the ball from other players.

How physical are Brentford? Poulson letting them get away with it #avfc

That's violent conduct from Thiago #AVFC

Brentford are a dirty team. They've taken out Buendia now! #avfc

Brentford have left more boots in than a forgetful Welly salesman today #AVFC
