Stockport have done a wonderful job of quietening down the crowd. They have been excellent in the opening half an hour. They have made #SWFC look extremely ordinary. Time and time again the hosts have turned over the ball cheaply. It's just not sticking up top. 🦉⚽️

Half an hour gone….. the away side probably happier at the moment…. They’ve done well. We’ve been stifled by and large too.

Oh God, we're not going on another 0-0 fest again! I thought we had some strikers? #swfc

James picks up the first yellow card of the afternoon after a late challenge on Diamond. It's all a bit slow and predictable from the hosts. A big improvement required. #SWFC 🦉⚽️

Reece James booked. Foot up. Contesting a high ball.

Things just opening up a bit and it’s going a little end to end…..

Headed away near post…..
And they clear

The first real decent passing move from Wednesday,
Through midfield ends on a corner for us….

Halfway through the first 45…..
Wednesday not really able to get going as the away side are playing well.
Still all square though at the minute….

Nowt doing from the set piece but it’s the away side still asking more questions up top.

Santos clears Diamond's effort off the line after the visitors hit the post. Gordon then flashes a header wide from the resulting corner. It's all Stockport. #SWFC are very fortunate to be level here. 🦉⚽️

Bit of pinball in the Wednesday box… looked like that came off the upright.
Diamond nods back goalwards, cleared. Stockport corner

Burstow after the bouncing ball, good strength. Shoots… blocked. Decent defending.

Wednesday have got some good technicians in their team, particularly in midfield. Not sure why they're sitting back and letting Stockport dictate so much of the play. Showing them way too much respect. They are a good side but they're not PSG or Arsenal. #SWFC 🦉⚽️

County busy in possession, quick passing and movement. Look decent.

County fans get giddy….
Long throw, does nowt.

Diamond shoots wide for the visitors….
They’re the ones who’s had the chances so far, one big one of note though missed by Wood.

Wednesday's front four are quite narrow out of possession. Stockport are dominating the ball in the early stages and are knocking it around with purpose and confidence. Diamond has just dragged a left foot shot well wide. Sluggish start from #SWFC. 🦉⚽️

Huge chance for the away side as a low cross deflects into the path of County’s number 16….. sidefooted way over.
Huge chance spurned
