A view out towards the North Atlantic Ocean from somewhere along the coast of Portugal. A rough and rocky cliff edge (not super tall, we're able to get down to the water ok) curves around the bottom of the photo with some green foliage in the foreground. The water in the middle is various shades of light blue. On the horizon line a container ship can be seen, standing out against the pale blue and slightly hazy, but clear of cloud sky above it.

Against a background of blur, with dried gray plant stalks, bisected by a spray of long thing green leaves, a macro lens has captured a single dandelion, yellow but with fringe petals, (probably an aster,) the lone bloom and the only part in focus. The not-opened bud beside it is a blur.
A shallow body of water fills the frame, layering reflections of blue sky and dark tree branches over the sandy bottom beneath. Golden-brown shallows, darker shadowed areas, and pale ripples overlap, making surface, reflection, and depth difficult to separate.
