A juvenile Osprey standing on its nest with its head in profile and its beak open mid screen. Its wings are not extended but they are slightly abducted from its body. Its wing feathers are edged in white giving away its juvenile status. Background is soft greens and tans.
A large raptor, facing to the left, flies low against a backdrop of blurred trees and, at the botton, blurred yellow/green reeds. The Marsh Harrier is dark brown with white head and face, and yellow legs and talons. The bird's wings are raised and the flight feathers splayed. The Marsh Harrier approached and then landed on its nest.

A small hawk in profile perched on top of a metal cross. The cross is hard to describe but imagine the club symbol from a deck of cards, elongate the stems, then wrap a strip of metal around it. Create 3 more metal strips and fuse the bottoms of the stems together to make a cross. Add a square shaped metal strip near the junction and you've got a decent approximation of the cross. The sky behind is evening blue. There are several small, black blurs in the sky which are Vaux's Swifts.

An Osprey nest composed mostly of sticks but decorated with long orange fibers (rope?). Both of the Osprey are in the nest with one having just landed so its wings are still elevated and one's head just peeking about the nest materials. Background is a green tree and some brown grass.

Cooper's Hawk
A juvenile Red-tailed Hawk with a reddish-brown head and back, yellow eyes, white chest and underparts, spotted brown belly band, and brown and white barred tail. The bird had an unhappy look on its face because I (and 3-4 others) were taking so many photos. It was perched on a brown branch of a tree right above the trail. There were more brown branches, red-orange buds, and a blue sky in the background. Seen at Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge in Concord, Massachusetts.
