Currently watching the Men's Free from Bangkok and so far... full redemption for Taiga Nishino (🇯🇵) who may end up finishing in the top 3 for the free but overall... 🤷🏾‍♀️... has to wait and see.
He was more than 26 points back b4 the free.

I also love the choreo spin, and I like the exit feature for jumps because we get more character from the skaters. Juniors at least is significantly more skating-focused this season. I really like it. #JGPFigure

IDK about seniors cause I haven't watched any yet this year, but I'm really enjoying the program changes for this season. I wasn't sure how I would feel, but one less jumping pass gives more room for SKATING, and also, I love the ability for 4 jump sequences now with the Euler change. #JGPFigure

Taiga’s redemption free skate is so raw and intense it has an edge of desperation but hey such hunger looks great on him! I’m glad he’s got the score he deserves 🥲
#JGPFigure

Taiga Nishino really said, "What short program?" huh? #JGPFigure

BOOM! Finished my week's classwork and now I get to enjoy men's FS and the rest of my 3 day weekend! #JGPFigure

JGP Bangkok - Ice Dance Final results #JGPFigure

Late night here.
Was supposed to watch the #JGPFigure Free Dance from Bangkok but... can't do that until I do the Riga 1 which would've been right now but... #USOpen tennis about to another 2 AM or later finisher.
🤦🏾‍♀️
Crazy way, isn't it.
🤷🏾‍♀️

Alright, here is where I pause #JGPFigure. Good stopping point. I have to get ready for work in about 30 minutes so pause for now, I'll figure the women's free after work this afternoon!

Hashish Merugupala must be one of those roller skaters the Indian fed has been recruiting. As rough as the technical elements were, he's very comfortable with the choreography and performance aspect.
#JGPFigure

Penultimate group so far...Hitonari Tani (🇺🇲)...😬, Shun Uemura (🇯🇵)... 😍.
After that... mistakes from the last few skaters.
Hiro Kaewtathip (🇹🇭) still leading with 1 more group to go which features Yanhao Li (🇳🇿), Lev Lazarev, and Taiga Nishino (🇯🇵).
#JGPFigure

I wonder who Mark was gossiping about while on a hot mike?
#JGPFigure

Hiro Kaewtathip’s skating took my breath away 🥹 I’m totally biased coz he’s my 🇹🇭 son but this boy is the nation’s pride and joy and he’s carrying the future of Thailand figure skating in his elegant hands. Sublime.
#JGPFigure

🤯... marvelous performance by Chawawit Jiamahasup (🇹🇭).
His only error was popping an intended double axel in2 a single 1.
Still, great performance.
Expect him to be a top contender in the near future.
#JGPFigure

I'm a little behind because I was sleeping but dang, Hiro. It's cool to see a Thai skater at such a high level.
#JGPFigure

Hoang Hu Nguyen (🇻🇳) has grow a bit from the last time I saw him. Good improvement on his jumps. Amazing improvement on his spins. His choreography still sketchy but again, what improvement.
#JGPFigure

Nice short from Jia Hao Lai (🇲🇾). Based on what I saw had some issues but I see great potential in him.
Could be a contender in years to come.
