@digiranma.bsky.socialThe Magic Council sends a messenger and after an (Understandably) reaction of "We didn't do it," the guy clears up why he's here: Any wizard that was in the grand magic games is part of a wizard exchange program and learn magic from other guilds. #FairyTail
@digiranma.bsky.socialWait, why is Kemo-Kemo a pet, but Happy's Natsu's...brother...son...cousin? #FairyTail
@digiranma.bsky.socialWell, turns out the kid bonded with Natsu and Happy just fine, as it felt all their love and idiocy!
So, time to show the rest of the guild the newest Crite.
If you saw Critters, you know why I'm calling the lil' puffball a Crite. #FairyTail
@digiranma.bsky.socialTen days later, it looks like Natsu and Happy are taking care of whatever this egg is, worrying the rest of the team, so they go in to check and see it hatched, and...
...wait, I know that thing!
@digiranma.bsky.socialYa know, considering the lizard has pants, maybe you should've asked to borrow a few scales?
Well, shortly after that, an egg from a flying...something...lands right on Natsu's head. #FairyTail
@digiranma.bsky.socialWe open with Team Natsu going after...the Lizard...
I guess he read the script to The Amazing Spider-Man 3. #FairyTail
@digiranma.bsky.socialUp next, as the boys get daiper, something hatches! "It's Kemo-Kemo!" #FairyTail
@digiranma.bsky.socialErza's heroic stilted dialog, Lucy's "PUT THOSE AWAY," the punchline of Erza's new form, youth being the source of the old guys' rampage as young men, all were HILARIOUS. I can't call this a loser by any means...but I can't say it's a win...more, "Meh." #FairyTail
@digiranma.bsky.socialIt's kind of a mix bag with this. On the one hand, something about the chaos here rubs me the same wrong way as some of the more recent filler or merged chapters of UY, it feels forced in most spots.
On the other hand, there were some home runs. #FairyTail
@ochan35.bsky.socialThe animators continue to be horny.
#FairyTail #Episode222 #EclipseCelestialSpiritsArc
@digiranma.bsky.social
@digiranma.bsky.socialThings are kinda back to normal, Erza's still realistic, and even moonlights as Fairy Woman. #FairyTail
@ochan35.bsky.socialIs...is this a Jojo reference?!
#FairyTail #Episode222 #EclipseCelestialSpiritsArc
@digiranma.bsky.social
@digiranma.bsky.socialWell, we got a new problem, as after Erza wins the battle...
"SHE'S TURN REALISTIC!"
...I have so many questions about the rules of this world, but damnit, I'm laughing my ass off at this punchline. #FairyTail
@digiranma.bsky.socialErza gets pissed off and causes Gajeel and Lily to blast off again and "Borrows" Lucy's whip and---
"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO YOU ARE!"
...The Rock...and knocks the old guys out and back to normal. #FairyTail
@ochan35.bsky.socialOkay MORE of this please...
#FairyTail #Episode222 #EclipseCelestialSpiritsArc
@digiranma.bsky.social
@digiranma.bsky.socialWell, Erza can't stop 'em, so it's time for Fairy Man and Fairy Boy...
What was that and why'd it come from Detroit? #FairyTail
@digiranma.bsky.socialSo...transformation magic CAN pull a Hulk as they transformed into forms that represent their resentment. Natsu and Happy decide now's the perfect time to transform...only to screw it up...now we have Erza popping up to kick some butt. #FairyTail
@ochan35.bsky.socialOkay...were the writers on something this episode?!
#FairyTail #Episode222 #EclipseCelestialSpiritsArc
@digiranma.bsky.social
@digiranma.bsky.social"I'm bursting with so much youth and vigor---" Not sure where that come sin with transformation, but we get round 2 as the other old guy becomes a living pile of smoke and just as reckless and evil and---
Uh...where was this in the transformation instructions? #FairyTail
@ochan35.bsky.socialUmmm...a certain One Piece character would be pissed you took his name!
