Although Tom (spoilers for #FROM and #WidowsBay) is a lot braver than the humanoid monsters who made a fae bargain with they in yellow will ever be. It’s refusing to bargain with this greater powers, only to have dramatic irony throughly kick your ass.

Well… (definitely some vague tweeting SPOILERS for #FROM #From #FromMGM), #WidowsBay kind of feels like the prequel to From when you examine the parallels, human sacrifice(s), included.

Finished Widow’s Bay. HO-ly SHIT! So good.

Go fucking watch it. It does not disappoint. Perfect for spooky season :DDD

Correction, Tom isn’t the Jaws mayor — he actually puts the town on curfew and dissuades the tourists after tragedy strikes. Tom can read the room and respond accordingly. #WidowsBay

Treating (remediating?) the black mold in the captain’s suit, then closing it off, certainly couldn’t hurt. #WidowsBay

Maybe there is something wrong with #WidowsBay, but there’s no guarantee that Tom (or anyone) can trap whatever terrifying presence is on this island.

Oh now William might be a dead guy… He has either very divorced man energy and/or “I’ll show them energy…” so the chances he’s dead are going up by the minute. I’m terrified Tom has been talking to an empty room all night. // meanwhile tom is continuing his haunted hotel (motel?) tour. #WidowsBay

So far, #WidowsBay is less haunted than the locals expect. But it is creepy AF. And Tom does have a little mayor from Jaws energy. Plus we’ve already met one revenant and the tourism video is more than a little haunted.

Finally getting around to watching #WidowsBay. So far it feels like a much darker Parks and Rec. It’s sardonic mostly in tone.
