Wishing #JJMcCarthy and his family all the best moving forward. I always thought the kid had real potential, but let's be honest—it’s hard not to feel like we just don’t know how to develop a QB here.

The NFL is legit like smoking crack. The non-stop stories and off the chain and clearly killing me slowly but I can't put that shit down. LOL #Seahawks #Giants #Raiders #Rams #Niners #Vikings

J.J. McCarthy started 18 fewer games at quarterback for the #Vikings than any other first-round pick in franchise history. Teddy Bridgewater, whose catastrophic knee injury ended his time as the starter before his third season, is next on the list (data from Pro Football Reference)

🚨 🚨 🚨

The #Giants are trading for #Vikings former first-round QB JJ McCarthy, per me, @AdamSchefter and @MikeGarafolo.

With Jaxson Dart out for the regular season, NYG acquires McCarthy to help solidify their room. An intriguing add. #NFL #nflnews

Say goodbye to #9 J.J. McCarthy.
I wish him well in his future endeavors.
Maybe a change in scenery will help him out.

A 5th? A 5th!?!

Inside of the next 5 years McCarthy will take Big Blue to the Superbowl , guaranteed . Not because he’s secretly talented, but because that’s how the universe works for the #Vikings

#Skol

J.J. McCarthy for a 2027 5th round pick...Why not? Low risk move for the #Giants, and it tells you the #Vikings had no interest in keeping McCarthy around, or trying to develop him any further.

He never had the making of a varsity athlete #Vikings
