Here’s my poster for this week’s newest episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: “Orders of Magnitude”. Great episode to ring in 60 years of Trek. #startrek #startreksnw #strangenewworlds #startrek60

I love this shot of Sam and Jim Kirk in #StarTrekSNW's "Orders of Magnitude"⬆️, cleverly using a mirror in Sam Kirk's quarters. It reminded me of the fact that William Shatner played Sam Kirk's body in #StarTrekTOS' "Operation -- Annihilate!"⬇️ - a mirror image indeed! Poor Sam also!!! 😢

It is the 60th anniversary of #StarTrek Week! 🖖

#StarTrekSNW Spoiler Alert

🚨

Pike should have told Uhura that she was a successful mentor since she helped that cadet realize that her path was leading elsewhere. Not everyone needs to join Starfleet and others need to mature more. Kind of like Jadzia with Arjin.

‘Orders of Magnitude’ was a great episode.

Joe Morton’s scenery chewing was a huge highlight, as was REDACTED kicking ass.

More great character development too.

#StarTrekSNW S4E8: Whoa! That was intense & good. I knew something was up w/the admiral as soon as he was so smiley & complimentary of everyone, but I didn't know what direction he was going at first. I do love the Kirks, tho I still want more Pike than we're getting. Also: M'Benga, no! Yay, Uhura!

My prediction: #StarTrek #StarTrekSNW will end with Paul Wesley narrating the intro, perhaps over a recreation of the #StarTrekTOS montage.
I'd love that.

So, this was a decent, respectable episode. It was good. I was just thinking that it's sad that all of season 4 wasn't to this standard. Just feels like a waste, tbh.

When I saw the admiral taking over the ship, I knew what was coming next, lol.

GODDAMN! Such a good episode.

I was too tired last night to do it, but now I'm watching #StarTrekSNW s04e08, 'Orders of Magnitude'.

This was good stuff! You don't hire Joe Morton for nothing and he did exactly what he was supposed to do! Loved this one A LOT! Probably one of the best SNW Kirk episodes. Lots to think about.

So, all in all, an utterly magnificent offering. It's a shame that there weren't more like this. Hopefully 4.9 and the 4.10 will be as good. And would be even more appreciable of Season 5 was conisitently on the level of this episode.

The subplot with Pike, Una, Uhura and Chapel was a great arc too. For Uhura in particular. Her evolution to the character from the OS is becoming more obvious and convincing.

It's obvious that we are now building towards the exit of one particular character. A real gut punch. The impact it will have on others will be a great ongoing arc, no doubt.
