Did some comparison of the EURO's thinking for the next 3 months -previous AUG 1 outlooks & the current SEPT. 1 thinking. Very little change in Temps.- overall still warmer than average,-as for Precip.-look's like it shifted SE-ward more rains off the US East Coast #onwx #onstorm

Latest regional radar for the Great Lakes, scattered showers in NEONT and further south a small cluster of showers/storms, running almost parallel along the southern shore of L. Erie (US side) moving NE-ward. #onwx #onstorm

Fist wide spread blue's I've seen aloft so far this fall. Blue's=below 0C temps at 850mb (or ~5k/ft.) Black= near 0C. Most of this cooler air aloft stays well north of SONT & transits W to E ( & does not stick around too long fairly progressive pattern) #onwx #onstorm

Your daily "fix" of MLCAPE for SONT. Highest CAPE values in SWONT/over L. Erie. There is some indication that some lake breeze segments may form, if so, they may kick off a few showers/iso. storms north of Lakes Erie & Ontario. We'll see. #onwx #onstorm
