@cardatlas.appBeckett pointed at today to bring back Base and Standard. Then it went dark.
Every Beckett site and the app dropped offline on Sep 9 for infrastructure work, and no tier has taken an online submission since.
Shows still take drop-offs. Check before you pack a box.

@paullesko.bsky.socialTomorrow my oblivious #TheHobby investor fake persona will do a fake trade-up challenge at a fake trading card convention. Really looking forward to those fake results.
@paullesko.bsky.socialSorry but I'm really enjoying these oblivious Insta-like #TheHobby investment posts. Will keep doing them until I run out of ideas! But thankfully, there's always something fun out there.

@cardatlas.appPSA opens a new Standard tier today: $59.99, 90 to 100 business days, $1,000 max value.
Value stays paused, and Standard queues behind it, so it is a cheaper door rather than a faster one.
Tomorrow PSA starts grading in Frankfurt.

@paullesko.bsky.socialI've spent years studying negotiation. Anchoring. BATNA. Information asymmetry. Silence. Turns out in #TheHobby all you have to say is: “What's your lowest?” Sellers who provided the opening offer then negotiate against themselves. I wasted a lot of time in law school.
@paullesko.bsky.socialMy son pulled a $5,000 card today. He yelled: “I'M SHAKING!” I immediately took the card away from him. If he can't maintain basic motor control around valuable assets, he's not ready to manage a #TheHobby portfolio.
@paullesko.bsky.socialMy current #TheHobby investment indicators: “I'm priced out.” — BUY “This can't keep going.” — BUY “Prices make no sense.” — BUY “This feels like 2021.” — STRONG BUY “This is obviously a bubble.” — BACK UP THE TRUCK Still researching what my "sell" signal is.
@paullesko.bsky.socialAs I said yesterday, I despise those obliviously smug Insta posts obviously written by AI about how the poster knows more about investing than anyone else. So, yes I'm bringing them to #TheHobby!
