The education

While the event's set on 6 cinquiembre, exactly a month after Celemas, there was discussion of having it on Sforzando Alighieri's birthday of 20 sixiembre, because he rediscovered Song Magic and proved it could be learned.

But he refuses that level of association with the Temple.

Anssen is a walkable city. It's pre-Industrial, so there's no motorized transportation. Most people walk, while the wealthier might have some Earth elementals acting as porters to carry them around.

The World Court has great medical care, but lousy education. This WILL change, but right now kids get lost and only attend with their parents' permission--orphans or wards of the state are left out.

The City of Gates is mostly occupied by adults, working for Niona, the god of travel. As such, there aren't usually many children.

For the occasional families that do stay on the island, education is provided by the temple of Niona, the same way they would train acolytes. 🧵
