#Yankees Ben Rice's 6 RBI last night vs #RedSox matched the most by a NYY batter in a postseason game in franchise history. Was 5th player to do that joining Robinson Canó, Hideki Matsui, Bernie Williams, and Bobby Richardson.

Definitely credit to Fried, but #RedSox hitters seem capable of only two outcomes so far in this game (w/ couple of exceptions):
Strikeouts
Off-balance lazy fly balls
Humph. #RedSox Erik Miller is tossing a ball around. Surely, not.
The "run prevention" strategy this #RedSox front office covets so much makes a lot more sense when you can score at least one run.
So #RedSox offense…
I went into this series feeling nothing and so far in the first two games I've felt nothing. #redsox
This offense is doing absolutely nothing. Not even putting up a good fight with long ABs. Swinging at horrible pitches way off the plate, lazy pop ups. They deserve to go home like this. #RedSox
Sooo we have gone basically THREE FULL PLAYOFF GAMES (27 innings) since 2025 without scoring a single run?!?
#RedSox have actually failed to score in 25 consecutive postseason inning as of right now.
At the plate: #RedSox Trevor Story has hit safely in each of his last 5 postseason games going 8-for-20 (.400) with 2 doubles, a home run, stolen base, and 3 RBI over that span of games.
Good recovery there by Sonny Gray after giving up the Garcia Jr solo shot.
Unfortunately, trailing 1-0 seems a monumental challenge for the current #RedSox offense.
At the plate: #RedSox second baseman Nick Sogard scored at least 1 run in 5 of his last 6 games, and 6 of his last 8 games of the season.
Luis Garcia Jr. HR should just about put a wrap on this #RedSox season unfortunately. I just can't see them scoring a run in the next five innings...
I'm sure racist umpire Doug Eddings has never told Sonny Gray to straighten his cap. #RedSox
