so usually im in a "fuck it we ball" kind of deal when im writing but because im *actually* trying to become a self published author by spring/summer 2027 ill be measuring by page count and hours spent.

#WeeknightWriters Q3: I'm going with "get words on the page every day" for progress, trying to be gentle with myself in the aftermath of burnout & in the midst of All The Things happening work/family/otherwise. I don't want to give myself a goal I'll feel guilty about not meeting. #FirstDraftFall

#WeeknightWriters A3: For #FirstDraftFall, I track word count, for sure, because I already have a spreadsheet to track word count across all my projects and can update it whenever I remember to transcribe the current word count of a work. The others feel like more work.
