Looking towards Haystacks at one end of Buttermere in the Lake District. The rust coloured bracken on the fells is glowing in the autumn sun and reflected on the lake. A beautiful line of trees runs across this end of the lake.

Buttermere is an absolutely beautiful lake and on this day one autumn was looking amazing in the light. In the foreground are golden grass and evergreen shrubs. On the lake is a reflection of the fells and the line of trees. At this end the fells loom over the lake.

Birdless bath

Yesterday I was looking at my bird bath minding my own business, when I noticed the water reflections shifting back and forth ever so quickly... there were breezes passing though. Took several frames, but liked this one.
