Folks along the escarpment zones need to really pay attention as rain ramps up today into tonight. Flash flooding is a sizable concern and now, we are seeing a potential threat for possible landslides playing out along the escarpment zone with SE facing slope areas.

Almost-9am Saturday radar update: Heavier rain is moving up from the south, and bands of moderate to heavy rain will be with us off-and-on all day.

Still a significant flooding threat in the mountains, and localized flooding could occur in the foothills and Piedmont as well. @wbtv.com #NCwx #SCwx
