📣 Did I mention my books were on sale? 📣

Adelaide's got a boring life. 8-6 job. Lives with her parents. No relationship.

She's been obsessing over the space pirate that flirted with her, and now she's leaving the planet

Leaving the planet with nothing but your purse “Your planet kinda sucks.” (That’s not how it works) “That’s just how it works” Making deliveries along the way Title: Is This What You Really Want, Adelaide Black? Byline: RJ Martin Image: Two women face away, watching a sunset. Two moons in the sky tell us it’s an alien world, and an angular space ship flies overhead. In the distance, a dark building rises on an island in a dark gray sea.

Progress update. Chapter 11 of One Bad Tuesday's first draft is 2/3rd done. I have hit "the" scene that worried us the most. Once its done it is off for 2nd, 3rd and final drafts. (1/?)

Oh that target shifts depending on the time frame. Readers were not happy with Marty's family in Long Black Train or Butcher. Others wanted to punch Zaya at first. Mara and Padri (1/?)

We love that Nat and Vola are the energies that we maintain in our real lives. Nat is that sense of never giving up and not letting injustice to those you love go unaddressed (1/2)

No seaside scenes yet. However the sea (Specifically the Sapphire Isles) plays a major role in one character's backstory. It is one of the most diverse areas we created politically.

Alkesh has a special event they throw, every Winter Solstice where a large state fair ground, outside of the city limits is staged and everyone enjoys their time. Rides, games and food. (1/?)

A lot of languages are spoke in L&M. Dwarvish, Elvish, Draconic, Orcish, Celestial, English, Primordial. Tons. Even variants of them. Zaya (a sun elf) speaks fluid Somnan (Moon) Elvish

Oddly enough 2 characters did get matching tattoos when they came out. Both Leo and Amanda have Bisexual Pride Hearts tattoo'd in the same place on their chest. Right above their hearts.

From Tales from New Darpana Bay Vol 2: Manic Pixie Dream Girl (in progress)

archiveofourown.org/series/3591394

The Weasel was packed tonight, people milling freely in and out of the black double doors. Ceres shoved her hands into her leather coat and nodded to Elias as she walked in. He had his hands full with folks waiting in line, but he casually waved her on. One of the perks of working for the owners - she hadn’t paid cover charge in years. And the looks of jealousy that tracked her as she breezed past? A perk. Reflexively, she scanned the room for signs of a familiar face. No trace of Nat, or her hot-but-oblivious roommate, Vola. No Mike or Mel either. Wali was onstage doing a last sound check with some band she didn’t recognize, and Ahn-Me was sitting at the bar. Ceres brightened at the sight.

From One Bad Tuesday: Ch. 11 - No Shoulder to Cry On

archiveofourown.org/series/3436765

The Aasimar’s soul relaxed itself, hearing the clear, keening song of her Goddess calling her “home”. A thousand voices layered one over another, set in specific order so their harmony was a flawless weave of life. She could perceive it now. A wafting and shimmering loose weave of light and Life that moved around her like water. Where the tapestry buffeted against the boundaries of “her”. Her shape within the weave became solid. Finite. Familiar.
