'La Vie' by De Boever - a skeleton with a monocle dances with a woman who is smilingly gesturing at a another skeleton lounging in a chair and smoking a cigarette.

When encountering strange, beautiful women who express an interest in you out of nowhere, you should be suspicious.

At the very least, you should be more suspicious than _this_ guy.

If someone gifts you a knife or sword, never just say thank you. Hand them a coin.
Old folklore says gifting a blade will cut the bond between you. But exchanging a single penny turns it into a purchase, bypassing the curse entirely. We love tricking our own superstitions. 🔪🪙

Deep in the woods these fairies live in their own miniature world….

The Village By The Stream

#artistscommunity #inktober2026miniature #inktober2026 #inktober #fantasyart #folklore #fairytale #fairycastle #woodland #magic

A picture of a fairytale village surrounded by trees. The tree trunks are all in different shades of brown. The trees all have autumn leaves in different shades of green, orange & gold.

On an island in the stream stands a white fairytale castle with the stream acting as the castle’s moat. In front of the castle are some houses in the shape of toadstools. Their rooftops are all different shades of red, orange, brown & violet.
The grass around them is yellow. That’s partly cos the sun’s shining on it & partly cos of its autumn colour of gold

#DuckDuckGo:
#Dragons "are often said to petrify in various mythological locations, with notable examples including the #IsleOfSkye in #Scotland, where rock formations resemble dragons. #Folklore from different cultures features stories of petrified dragons, linking them to natural rock formations."
