Its time to escape to folk horror for #31daysofhalloween . Set in a national park, Firewatch is a walking simulator about a guy working in a watchtower trying to escape his trauma. Men takes us to a British village where a woman having a holiday but every man she meets looks like the same guy.

Vintage Halloween card, ‘I pray you bright flame Now show to me Who my future husband may be.’ ‘A Jolly Halloween’ The card depicts an old Halloween tradition of divination or fortune-telling. A young woman in a formal, flowing gown is holding a lit candle and looking into an oval, floor-length mirror. Her reflection shows her in the same dress, but a different person, a well-dressed man, is shown standing behind her. The man is meant to be her future husband. The postcard is also decorated with other Halloween imagery: A black cat arches its back on the mantle over the mirror.
