Listening to this badmiral's description of George Kirk's lack of combat ability makes me ill now.

Kirk didn't question your decision to leave orbit. Kirk just suggested not leaving without telling Pike what was going on.

Starfleet guy pontificating over coffee... how original.

Yes!! I was watching Eureka (for the first time) a few months ago but got sidetracked by a group watch of SG-1.

I feel like leaving a comms buoy is an obvious thing to do. Reeger should have even said it himself. Or at least thanked Kirk for suggesting it.

@MisophonicSpree I remember him from his first role in movie "Brother from another planet" and then on TV in Eureka

Joe Morton. He was in Terminator 2. He was the scientist guy...

@MisophonicSpree This is guest star acting for the ages.

!! Reeger just make a closed-mouth sound in his throat... it felt a lot like Benjamin Sisko. Great choice by the actor.

Yeoman Vannik I think says not one single word the whole time. But the actor does a really good job.

There is no way that Reeger stayed up all night reading all their files.

Joe Morton is great. I am impressed that Trek casting got him.

Wow La'An smiling about Admiral Simon Reeger is really cute.

Good thing the landing party are all wearing their Action Jackets

La'an: I didn't know your mother worked on the ship!? Cause why wouldn't you bus your own damn table??

He's investigating a faint SOS signal. Seems routine.

Oh yeah? Then why do you send BOTH the captain and his number one???

"A few drops work wonders. Larger doses can cause paranoia."

Geez Kirk, are you ever on your own ship?? Aren't you the second in command over there???
