The first two images were taken at another location where I was on my own and while feeding the local birds, discovered a bird with string around both feet.

I managed to catch it, and bought some nail supplies to help remove and disinfect the area before release.

i have a large flock of feral pigeons that come to my house for breakfast and lunch every day. i feed them hen-scratch, a combo of wheat, rye and split peas, and sometimes i give them raw peanuts.
they are a lot better behaved than most humans...
