🗣️ “If you look at the game as a neutral, I think that was a fantastic football game. Two teams that do everything they can to trust their own quality, be aggressive, high press. In that I think it was a fantastic game."
@craigjohnsgazboro.bsky.socialWeird game to rate players because of the amount of momentum swings.
But gave three #Boro 8s, with two players making a huge difference to the attack (and the game when they had to come off)

@richb42.bsky.socialunder Hellberg. Great to get a win without Lankshear scoring, just to show we can. Three new players off the mark. Another great display of character to beat a good team. We're going well #Boro
@richb42.bsky.socialNegative out the way quickly - MPH and Joseph for McGree and Conway was a mistake and nearly cost us. Sacrificed too much control at once
That said, what a great game of football that was. ACD looked awesome, if he can maintain that he'll piss this league. First half was as good as #Boro have been

@craigjohnsgazboro.bsky.socialAfter a frantic start, #Boro took control and looked exciting and comfortable. Then came subs as attackers tired that looked to have cost them the game.
Fitting for the chaos, they found a way to win it late
The verdict after a crazy game:

@holgate.permanent.redLove how watching the football at -5 can make or break the mood of the entire day and not just the evening (phew) #boro
