I'm trying to support this new #ADifferentWorld but it's a struggle. Plus they threw Dean Dorothy Dandridge Davenport under the bus???

I also didn’t realise they filmed this before Glynn Turman died. I liked his character, but I’m still upset the writers married Jaleesa off to him. That just never fit with me.

Also really glad they gave recognition to Mr Gains/Lou Myers. That was really thoughtful.
#ADifferentWorld

But this isn’t a comedy at all. It’s like the grimdark reboot of Fresh Prince they did a bit ago.

But it is fun/super weird to see all the old cast make appearances… and how old they got… (I’m their age… yikes!!)

#ADifferentWorld

So, I still watch syndicated episodes of A Different World daily, so I was intrigued by the Netflix reboot.

So I DL’d all the eps.

It’s… well… the show they made is a good show… Frankly, they shouldn’t have put the name on it, and could have set it at Spelman, and it’d be great.
#ADifferentWorld

Why they got Jada talking about relationships with “dynamic” men 😭 #adifferentworld

This show is so good!! ##adifferentworld #goodvibes

Listen!

I am SEATED binging the reboot of #ADifferentWorld

I’m on the episode 3. This show is SO GOOD!!! Love how they have introduced the legacy characters brought in new characters, & caught us up on veteran characters.

SO glad a Huxtable is at Hillman.
Dean Davenport took one for the team 😂

watched #adifferentworld and LOVED it. probably should've mentioned the pacing is insane but i was having a blast regardless so

Im glad they included the queer character and the holy roller. These are core HBCU identities you dont often seen in media #adifferentworld

The #ADifferentWorld continuation...loads of online assholes are commenting on how terribly Jasmine and Cree have aged, and on how heavy Kadeem has gotten. Instead of giving kudos to these people for their great acting and social

I haven’t watched the reboot/continuation of #ADifferentWorld

But that episode when Whitley learned her freed Black ancestors owns enslaved Black people was very poignant for me. Even as a child/teen/young adult/adult who has rewatched the show.

For light skin/mixed Black folx need …

I’m only on episode 2 but I hate the way the “correct” pronunciation of Deborah is on #ADifferentWorld

Also, this slowed down tv theme song, hate it
