By the time Ed has gotten dressed, stowed his work safely away and roused the crew to assign their tasks for the day, it’s already time for him to dash off to meet Stede. He’s at a full sprint by the time he reaches the beach proper, too giddy to give a single fuck about how his creaky old knee will feel later, eyes on his prize of a golden head of hair, whose owner is now stepping out of the Revenge’s dinghy. By the time Stede realises how fast and close Ed’s approaching, it’s already too late for him to do anything but let a cry of ‘Edward Teach, don’t you DARE -ooof‘ before Ed makes impact, knocking them both off their feet. Ed can tell that Stede was probably trying his best to be angry at him (he’d anticipated some level of backlash from Operation Curtains from the very start) but who can be mad when they’re being hugged and kissed this much? Maybe someone who’s just gotten tackled into wet sand perhaps, but Ed’s not going to let that dampen his enthusiasm for their reunion in the slightest. Just you try being miffed now Bonnet - checkmate!

Pink, cream and blue sparkly shawl, part finished
a pixel-art sokoban puzzle called "The Gold Store": a miner on a grid of teal floor and sandstone walls, with crates, a pressure pad, a gate, a pit and a treasure chest. below the board, counters read moves 0, cables 1, par unknown, and a Zachtronics-style patch panel wires a "PAD: you on the brass pad" trigger through an AND gate to "GATE: the door opens", with an ice effect available too.
A square "slate" embroidery frame leans against a car steering wheel. The stitched artwork on the frame is almost finished and depicts woodland with bluebells. A tablet showing a photo of woodland is propped behind the wheel. Through the windscreen can be seen cars in a car park and the entrance to an eye clinic
A photo of an incomplete piece of blackwork embroidery in white thread on black Aida cloth. It is a grid of small round motifs with blank spaces between them. The grid is rather less than 3/4 finished.
