#Shelton needs to find ways to approach the net, or force #Zverev into moving forward to the net. Baseline duels won't do the job for three sets in a row. It's not as if he is not getting chances to move forward.
Ben up 4-3 in the third.

The first 'almost' game for #Shelton on Zverev's serve since the match started.

This is me right now as I'm watching this #USOpen Men's final in a muted format.

We talk about tennis being a sport with gender parity, but it’s only somewhat true.
The #USOpen women’s final was shown on ESPN, on cable.
The men’s final? On ABC, for all to see, as the finale.

This match so far is boring and feels inevitable. #USOpen

The McEnroe Bros should ask Pierce Brosnan for his barber's name. #USOpen

Welp. I guess Ben Shelton ain’t winning shit today. #USOpen

Every word of this re #Zverev and today's #USOpen men's singles final.
The ATP, and ESPN/ABC, have been whistling on the porch hoping the parade goes by.
Meanwhile two women accused Zverev of physical violence, including choking, against them.

Andy Roddick on ESPN says Ben needs to take risks on line forehand earlier in rallies. Trying to trade shots down the middle is Zverev all day. #USOpen

While the nearly 25,000 fans, who are really passionate supporters, would definitely give #Shelton much more of a boost. But apparently, the stands are filled with celebrities and wealthy people who just want to sit back and be entertained. #GoZverev !
