I stopped watching the match at the 40’ mark. I can’t be bothered to support a team that can’t be bothered to show up. #rctid

Full Time: Earthquakes 3 - 1 Timbers

Da Costa scored a consolation goal late in the second half, but the damage done in the opening 30 minutes sinks the Timbers.

Izoita was a huge positive, one of the few bright spots for the Timbers tonight. Play him. #RCTID

This game was over in the 4th minute. That's when the Timbers conceded another soft opening goal. The remainder of this game was garbage time. San Jose scored two more before the half hour mark. Despite the defensive absences, this is still a very bad loss. #RCTID

FINAL | POR 1-3 SJ #RCTID

Earthquakes sweep the Timbers for the first time in MLS history. There was no overcoming another flat start on the road.

Homegrown Eric Izoita was bright and provided a nice assist in limited minutes.

90+2’ Speculative hit from Izoita, but the kid deserves to have that one. He has tried to make things happen every time he’s received the ball. Put in a great challenge at the other end to start that move. #RCTID

Eric Izoita has two goal contributions in two appearances. I say we trade Bassett, play Izoita in all 34 next year, and watch him rack up 17 goals and 17 assists. It's science. #RCTID

Good on Izoita to get an assist! Good smash by DDC #RCTID

86’ Awesome Da Costa goal to pull one back for the Timbers, 3-1.

Quick passing from Antony, Guerra, and Izoita in the box sets up the Portuguese midfielder for a hammer shot at the near post.

The Timbers’ homegrown midfielder gets the assist. #RCTID

ANTONY FINDS IZOITA IN THE BOX, AND THE ACADEMY GRADUATE SLIPS A PASS TO PORTUGUESE DAVE TO PUT THE TIMBERS ON THE BOARD WITH A NEAR POST FINISH IT'S 3-1 TO THE QUAKES IN THE 86TH MINUTE #RCTID
