Why are we getting the softest yellow cards ever? #RBNY
That’s a BS yellow #RBNY
I have to admit I’m struggling that we’re in a game against our closest rival, fighting for a playoff spot, and all 3 of our DPs are on the bench. I know, DP conversation is so MLS 2.0, but it’s rather annoying #RBNY
🟨 Yellow Card 30' — N. Cavallo (@newyorkcityfc.com). @newyorkcityfc.com 0–0 @newyorkredbulls.com. Major League Soccer
The Smurf rotations are much more active than ours. We’re positionally more static, and there’s a couple of places on the field, like in front of Parker, that it’s causing us some discomfort #RBNY
🟨 Yellow Card 22' — C. Cowell (@newyorkredbulls.com). @newyorkcityfc.com 0–0 @newyorkredbulls.com. Major League Soccer
Cowell got that yellow for throwing the shoulder, not for using it. If he stays on his feet he doesn’t get booked and wins the ball. Got too anxious to initiate the contact #RBNY
That sequence didn’t turn into a proper chance b/c Santos sniffed it out, but it nearly became something b/c Cowell wasn’t in position and Soto was too slow to see and step out on the left back. Suddenly they’re up our behind #RBNY
Mehmeti is the best players on #RBNY, I don’t think there’s much debate to be had there. I think there’s a real argument to be made that Donkor is 1B though
🟨 Yellow Card 6' — A. Mehmeti (@newyorkredbulls.com). @newyorkcityfc.com 0–0 @newyorkredbulls.com. Major League Soccer
