Congratulations, JJ! Mr. Reliable! #Panthers

The #Panthers' Week 2 inactives include Pat Jones, Chau Smith-Wade and Tyrel Dodson: www.espn.com/espn/now?now...

#Panthers inactives vs. Falcons Wk 2:

TE Ja'Tavion Sanders
QB Haynes King (emergency third)
CB Chau Smith-Wade
LB Tyrel Dodson
OT Albert Reese
OLB Pat Jones (back)
DT Bobby Brown

Looks like they're working Dodson up. But rookie Zakee Wheatley is officially active.

Congratulations to Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers on getting their obligatory win against the Atlanta Falcons later today 👏🏻

A couple of things I want to see from the #Panthers offense today:

- Same level of aggression as last week. ATL DBs are better, but Carolina flashed some impressive concepts and sequencing. Need more of the same again, imo.

- Clean day from Monroe Freeling...rebounded after early struggles in Wk1.

After last week's defensive performance, I think we're already seeing signs of personnel change for the #Panthers defense.

I mentioned Wheatley this morning to replace CSW, and there's a chance we could get Dodson on early downs. [continued]

The Falcons secondary will be a little bit of a challenge for the #Panthers today compared to the Bears. The Terrell brothers looked good last week, and Jessie Bates and Xavier Watts are a fun safety tandem.

Important game today for the #Panthers. Some key players are likely still out today (Jones, BB3), so the younger talents have to step up once more.

In those cases, guys like Lee Hunter, Cam Jackson, Princely, and Gipson have to have sound games. Stefanski loves WZ, so the discipline must be sharp.

Some players I'm watching today for the #Panthers

iDL Cam Jackson
LB Tyrel Dodson
SAF Zakee Wheatley
EDGE Princely Umanmielen
CB Will Lee III
WR Xavier Legette
C Luke Fortner

Yes, the defense is playing today.

We'll likely have some new faces today, including safety Zakee Wheatley, who is rumored to be active today, and iDL Cam Jackson, who should've been active last week.

I think the #Panthers defense will be fine. Today should see a rebound.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been the setting of Bryce Young’s biggest performances in college and the NFL.

The #Panthers QB is looking to win in Week 2 for the first time in his career and history is on his side:

For a second consecutive weekend, the #Panthers have activated OLB Jeremiah Moon and DB Isaiah Simmons from the practice squad.

Reminder: Pat Jones (back) is questionable.
