Crowd unhappy with the foul call on Kayla McBride as she fought through a Jonquel Jones screen mid-3rd Q. Reeve challenged. Refs took a long look before letting it stand but added a tech on Jones. McBride hit the FT. #Lynx still trailing NY #Liberty 51-46.

Olivia Miles, you trying to have a block party, girrrrrl? #Lynx #WNBA

Williams and Howard with three fouls apiece for the #Lynx, while Leonie Fiebach and Pauline Astier have three for #Liberty.

Miles came in needing 21 points to break Caitlin Clark's 2024 @wnba.com rookie record for points in a season (769). Clark did it in 40 games. This is Miles's 39th. #Lynx

NY Liberty ride 12-4 closing run to 41-37 halftime lead as #Lynx
commit three TOs in final 1:03. Rugged game that's seen Liberty hold Lynx to 35.1% shooting with 22-18 edge on pts in the paint. Williams 12p & Miles 6p on 2-for-9 shooting. Stewart 11p/4r, Ionescu 10p/3a.

ICYMI: Nia Coffey got married August 29. She goes by Nia Brodie now. Adjust your rosters accordingly. (Thanks to @cassidyhett.bsky.social for filling me in.) #Lynx @wnba.com

Court is clearly well-rested and ready to play... #Lynx #WNBA

FIBA is so much fun, but I am glad the W is back from hiatus, missed the rest of the league. Now, it's time to watch The Spectacle #Lynx #Liberty #WNBA

If not, I think we all have a pretty good idea who and what led to this. #Lynx @wnba.com

Never noticed this before at Target Center: @wnba.com
"conduct advisories" affixed to courtside seats, telling fans that anyone who doesn't abide by the league's Fan Code of Conduct risks expulsion and revocation of tickets. Asking #Lynx
season ticket holders: Are these new?

BTW: #Lynx are giving away replica Olivia Miles goggles tonight. Marketing left a box of them in the media room. Not bad. Pretty sturdy by the looks of them, too. /end

Tonight, Reeve said the #Lynx need to do a better job defending Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu, who averaged 26.5p and 21p, respectively, in their two previous games in July (the teams split). 4/

At Target Center for #Lynx and NY Liberty. As you probably know by now, #Lynx magic number to clinch the No. 1 seed is two. It can happen tonight with a Lynx W and a Golden State loss.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEDAY

Let's go Lynx
