...but now Laxus knows the truth and is kinda pissed... #FairyTail

Turns out the mayor's been storing Laxus's own electricity...and the only way to stop it is to punch it...buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut in Laxus's state, it could damn well fry him...and being in water isn't helping. #FairyTail

Turns out the lightning attracted lightning elementals and the team's gotta kill most of 'em before Laxus can take 'em all...and the team noticed the lightning is coming from UNDER the ground. #FairyTail

Yeah, turns out the Mayor and the butler is doing this for an insurance sacm: The lightning wrecks the town, they go to Fairy Tail and say "YOUR BOY DESTROYED MY TOWN" to the old man, instant money. #FairyTail

So, the piece that Laxus supposedly left behind? A lightning God. Not sure if it's figurative or literal, given #FairyTail 's nature, but now...there's a bigger problem: The town is CHARGING the lightning.

So, yeah, the mayor and his butler (He did it) hired the Thunder Legion to get to the bottom of this mess with the lightning plague...and it turns out it was Laxus's fault! Yeah, see, Laxus encountered a group of thugs and responded in kind...leaving something of his behind. #FairyTail

Laxus breaks up the clouds and there's still static as the clouds WEREN'T the source of the lightning...but part of it. Doesn't matter for the moment, as it means people can come right out and exposition...in over a month! #FairyTail

Turns out the job for team Laxus is various attacks of lightning are plaguing this one town and nobody knows why. The result? Everybody's inside...and the town's covered in lightning rods...
