It strikes me now that somebody should write something about all of this. If only I knew somebody with a Thorns blog site who could- oh right. #BAONPDX

That’s right, one of youse made a special request for this #FURT cat butt on a mug 🔥😍

The defense is what it is - you could argue just one or two NWSL team have a truly elite defense.

But for a team like Portland, who has a bevy of proven offensive talent on their roster, to have scored just one (1) goal from open play in the past 360 minutes of soccer is unacceptable. #BAONPDX

There have been alarm bells ringing for this team since the summer restart. Have only gotten two clean sheets since July, and have only score more than 2 goals twice since July 5th.

And all of a sudden, Portland's in 6th and just six points above the playoff line. #BAONPDX

The Thorns tripping over the lowest bar at home is bad.

The Thorns doing that and having 3 wins in their past 10 and 21 points dropped from winning positions is worse.

The Thorns doing all of that in a season where they should be title contenders is red alert super mega bad. #BAONPDX

Jeff Agoos deserves his fair share of criticism as well. #BAONPDX

You can say that again:

“Today is just tough because I hate losing and we didn’t even lose, but it feels like a very big loss today.”

#BAONPDX

This Thorns team has a potentially decent head coach on their bench, but she has only been in charge for two matches this season. #BAONPDX

Thorns conceding late when leading is a worrying trend. The commonality is shutting down the press and dropping to a low block. The solution is simple; keep pressing and focus more on possession- take it to the corner, pass around the back, etc.- in order to finish a game off. #BAONPDX

❗Portland soccer people! Please join us one week from today—on Sunday, 20 Sept. at 2pm—to talk soccer politics, from #PDX soccer fans fighting for justice to the FIFA greed zombie. Hosted by "Booked!" & @107ist.org — right across the street from the "Multnomah Civic Stadium." #RCTID #BAONPDX
