15/15 THE NUMBERS ARE THE INDICTMENT: $25/hour. $52,000 gross. ≈$9,772 Taxes & Payroll Deductions. ≈$42,228 take-home. $3,490 in 5 basic monthly bills. ≈$29 left. And possibly FOUR INTERVIEWS just to get that job. JOB HUNTING IS A FUCKING JOKE! #LivingWage #Hiring #Workers#HiringHell #JobHunting

13/15 Companies say they can’t find workers, yet many hiring systems are slow, impersonal & exhausting. Qualified applicants spend hours—or days—on one opening, then get ghosted or rejected by automation. That isn’t efficiency. IT'S DYSFUNCTION. #JobMarket #Hiring #Workers #HiringHell

11/15 Corporations have HR teams, recruiters, hiring managers, ATS systems, AI screening & automated scheduling. The unemployed worker has themselves. & while companies take WEEKS to “circle back,” workers lose money every day they remain unemployed. #Labor #JobSearch #Workers#HiringHell #Jobs

9/15 Then come screening calls, assessments, personality tests, video interviews, second interviews, third interviews—THEN THE FOURTH.
All unpaid. Meanwhile, rent, utilities & groceries keep coming due.
The employer waits. THE WORKER CANNOT. #Hiring #Workers #Jobs #HiringHell #JobHunting #WageCrisis

7/15 Now imagine desperately needing that $25/hour job—and being told you need FOUR INTERVIEWS. FOUR FUCKING INTERVIEWS. For a call-center job that may leave you with about $29 a month after five basic expenses. THAT IS ABSURD. #Hiring #JobSearch #Workers #HiringHell

4/15 $3,519 average monthly take-home. $3,490 in just FIVE basic expenses. LEFT OVER: about $29 a month. That’s about $6.69 a week. About $348 for the ENTIRE YEAR. Before transportation, healthcare, emergencies or savings. #Workers #LivingWage #HiringHell #JobHunting

2/15 $25 an Hour equates to $1,000/week. $52,000/year GROSS. However, the government deducts $9,772/year in estimated taxes & mandatory payroll deductions. Take-home pay averages around $42,228/year. THEN THE BILLS START. #CostOfLiving #Workers #Jobs #HiringHell #WorkerRights

1/15 MY EMPLOYMENT SEARCH IS A NIGHTMARE: Clients are no longer calling due to our catastrophic economy, so now I am in search for immediate employment and I am being offered $25 an hour for a call service job. That MAY sound decent—until you do the math. #CostOfLiving #Workers #Jobs #HiringHell
