Crochet will be having nightmares all off-season about this appearance, which will only make him stronger!

At the plate: #Yankees Austin Wells is 0-for-4 and 2 strikeouts over his career facing #RedSox Garrett Whitlock.

#RedSox turn it all over to Garrett Whitlock. He's been terrific the whole season, but he inherits a monumental, unenviable task.

Opponents this season vs Whitlock: 15-for-83 (.181) with 2 HR and .510 OPS from the right, 23-for-103 (.223) with 1 HR and .533 OPS from the left.

Rough welcome back for #RedSox Garrett Crochet. He departs charged with a #Yankees run and leaves the bases loaded, all without recording an out.

1点追加されなおノーアウト満塁。昨日からなんだか配球を読まれているっぽいんだよなー #RedSox

4th career home run for #RedSox Willson Contreras. Other 3 came with #Cubs in 2016 and 2017.

I’m all for the triumphant story of a return for Crochet in the playoffs after not pitching for most of the season. But this was not the moment to see what he’s capable of, when down by 1 and your season on the line. #RedSox

This is what happens when you have to play of a wish and prayer. This is not a serious playoff caliber baseball team. #redsox

10 hits now for #Yankees as Jazz Chisholm, Jr. records his 2nd of the game. #RedSox have just 3 hits in this one.

I don’t care. I don’t care. I don’t care. I love seeing a healthy Crochet on the mound.

Defensive meltdown:
1. Adley takes to long to throw to 1st on the K
2. Contreras with terrible non-stretch
3. Horrendous throw to 2nd on the steal attempt

#redsox

#RedSox get a run and immediately give it right back as #Yankees George Lombard Jr. connects for an RBI single that scores Spencer Jones.

Stolen base and and error now as #Yankees Spencer Jones is over to third base with nobody out. Pressure right away on #RedSox Garrett Crochet.

This is so painful to watch. #RedSox

And to think, there was hope for a minute there. #redsox

That a horrible stretch by Wilson, and a lazy play by Rutchman. The #redsox can’t afford to not be perfect on the little things.

負けたら終わりの試合、1点ビハインドの6回裏、シーズン後半全休していた大巨神Crochetが #RedSox のマウンドに出現した！

We can’t even celebrate Crochet’s K to his first batter. 🙁

#redsox

#Yankees challenge the out on Spencer Jones. They win the challenge and he's aboard to start the bottom of the 6th for #RedSox Garrett Crochet.
