Just did some preliminary calculations on our demographic data for this study-- an ongoing issue that our sampling in these populations is not as diverse as I might hope.

The poverty #MECFS and #LongCOVID patients live under is also remarkable, especially given their high educational attainment.

Es ist ja schon ein besonderer Humor im Sozialministerium. Kritik an #MECFS-Gutachten ist "durchaus berechtigt", man arbeitet an einem Leitfaden... ...und die Sektion IV holt sich dann jemanden von der PVA zur Gutachterschulung. Damit man von den Profis lernt, vermutlich.

Textausschnitt aus dem ZackZack-Artikel: "„Die Kritik ist durchaus berechtigt“ Im Büro von Sozial- und Gesundheitsministerin Korinna Schumann bezeichnet man die Kritik an den Gutachten auf ZackZack-Anfrage als „durchaus berechtigt“, und betont: Ein Reformprozess, in den Betroffene wieder stärker eingebunden werden sollen, sei bereits im Gange. Das Sozialministeriumservice arbeitet laut Sozialministerium an einem Leitfaden und einem zentralen Feedbackmanagement. Die Qualifikationen und Fachrichtungen der eingesetzten Gutachter sowie vermeidbare Mehrfachbegutachtungen würden derzeit untersucht. Unbeantwortet bleibt jedoch die Frage, wie ME/CFS-spezifische Einschränkungen in Gutachten in Zukunft erfasst werden sollen."

FATIGUE IN ME/CFS "ME/CFS-related fatigue is very different from ordinary tiredness. It feels like my body has an extremely limited amount of energy available, and even very small amounts of physical or mental activity can use up far more energy than they should. Norway Demonstration scheduled for 28th October at 3:00 PM Three patient organisations — The Norwegian ME Association, The ME Parents, and the Norwegian Covid Association — are organising a demonstration outside the Norwegian Parliament demanding a stop of the planned clinical guidelines for fatigue and ME. "Leben" mit #mecfs

1x in der Woche dusche ich. Mehr ist nicht drin. Aber ich halte das Gemuffe einfach nicht aus. Es stresst mich massiv. Ich liege fast 24/7 im Bett. Katzenwäsche ist keine Alternative. Blöd nur, dass die Spoons für die ganze restliche Woche nun weitestgehend aufgebraucht sind. 😮‍💨
