A word that means 'thorough AND concise', the dream of every writer. How do you say it in your language?

When a song, poem, or album makes you cry about something beautiful that's gone. That feeling has a name in at least 16 languages.

I think it's funny that "salty" and "bitter" are different flavors but are used to describe the same emotion.

Quiet game for the thinking sort: Entropy sets out 21 substitutions, and 1,000 points go to anyone who gets every one of them. #decode #wordnerd

A memory of mine from 3 years ago:

Just learned that the phrase is "just deserts", with one 'S', but it *is* pronounced "desserts" (and not desert) and it does mean "to get what one deserves". Nice and confusing.

When someone's rude, English calls it churlish. Other languages have their own sharp word for it too. What do you call impolite behavior in yours?

Have you ever heard of the letter "thorn"? Here's an article I wrote about it, and why everyone is pronouncing “Ye" wrong (not that Ye - I mean the one in "Ye Olde Tea Shoppe”).
