Security: preparing the parser guards for reuse, I found 9 ways past them (6 crashes, 3 drove memory to 4.8 GB) and closed all of them, plus limits no real book nears. Hostile books now get a report, not a crash.

The Component Model "Dependencies" graph is now interactive: double-click a module or nested component to open it; double-click an import or export to jump to its bytes in the hex view. #WebAssembly #wasm

The three DWARF sections (.debug_abbrev, .debug_info, .debug_line) are now one tab with a search bar. Click any row to select its bytes in the hex view. #WebAssembly #wasm

Because my work usually involves building native apps for Apple platforms, UseMyResearch contains a kernel written in #Swift, compiled to #WebAssembly. I'm happy how this turned out. I like how I can use things like async and typed errors for websites, too.

Someone compiled the entirety of PHP into WebAssembly. That blob drops into any JavaScript runtime and still does what PHP does anywhere else.

The is cool: "The Emscripten-forge #NumPy package now links #OpenBLAS in #WebAssembly"/#WASM

This was made possible thanks to @gws.phd's work on #WebR (webr.sh) where he successfully managed to port the Fortran toolchain, which #RStats relies heavily on, to #WASM

bun-php is mod_php with Bun standing where Apache used to. The runtime owns the request lifecycle; PHP hooks in as an embed.

#WebAssembly #CloudNative

Someone joked that the next version of Bun would run PHP. @StanislavKhromov built it anyway, and bun-php exists now.

Why use it:
⚡ ~10× faster on the same books
🪶 one reader's 2,798-book library: 10 MB of memory against 371 MB
🌐 also runs in the browser via WebAssembly, and your book never leaves your machine
🧩 embeddable: a Rust crate plus an npm package
