For #VintageToyTuesday, a Macross model kit for Millia’s(Miriya) Valkyrie. This was for the 15th anniversary, so I got it around 2000. Apparently too lazy to put it together.

#VintageToyTuesday Hot Wheels Streex. This short-lived Hot Wheels* line came out when I was in college. They intrigued me enough to buy. Then I just never got rid of them.

*Ironic, since they don't have wheels.

Three Streex "cars" (purple, orange, and black) with two launchers. They have no wheels, just flat bottoms, and glide just over the floor when launched.

For #VintageToyTuesday is a weird one. The 1998 Spat & Grovel. I have no idea why I bought this other than I was riding the X-Men toy craze!

I got this Airazor from a local convention in great quality! This is the pack-in figure for a Beast Wars VHS from 1998 and she has more show-accurate colours!

Took some nice pics for #VintageToyTuesday !

#VintageToyTuesday is a blast for me. I don’t normally collect vintage preschool toys but DoubleDooz were so much fun as a kid that I just had to get some as an adult. There’s a pirate guy that is just too cute for words.

It's #VintageToyTuesday and today I have Skippy from the defunct Disney World ride Extraterrorestrial Alien Encounter! He comes in both regular and extra crispy flavors.

I don't know when these were actually made, but the ride closed 23 years ago so probabaly at least that long ago.

Two toys of Skippy from the defunct Disney World ride Extraterrorestrial Alien Encounter. He's a small fluffy alien with four legs, two arms, a long snout, and two antenna. On the left he's living his best life, on the right he is suffering.

Matchbox Connectors Grumo! (Aka Ertl Socket Poppers Swamp Monster). Stick Swamp Thing, Toxie and Muckman in a blender then add a load of random other arms and legs and you’ve got ol’ Grumo here. He’s got great detailing, particularly on his back #vintagetoytuesday

Matchbox Connectors Grumo - a green swamp monster with splashes of florescent orange detailing. His body his made up of random junk & detritusA side view of Geino show up even more interesting parts (jutting bones & a tyre in one foot)Not content with his own random parts he adds a few bits from othersA rear view of Grumo showing a boot and tv lodged in his back and a banana peel on his head (a detail he shares with Muckman)

Robo Machines Scooter! The only 93 rerelease that has the Gobots name, probably down to the genericness of it rather than nostalgia. Scooter himself is far from generic though & is a lovely lil toy with great articulation (even better if you slightly mistransform him to have hips) #vintagetoytuesday

Robo Machines Scooter on an Italian card (sold in the UK for £1.25) Scooter in robot mode. The RM 93 release has a very slightly different tummy sticker (looks like it was slightly redrawn) but is otherwise identical to the 80s release Scooter mode! Again, really nice. Thankfully it doesn’t have the robot face on the front like the cartoon but you can see how they came to that design decision Scooter goes to bed. The bed is actually Road Ranger’s truck bed but it still looks comfy (this pic demonstrates the extra hip articulation you get if you don’t collapse his legs in robot mode

Chris, haven't you shown Playmates Admiral Kirk on #VintageToyTuesday / #TrekTuesday before?
Yes, but I have two now, so it's not technically a repeat! And technically correct is the best kind of correct.

A pair of 1990s Playmates Classic Star Trek action figures of Admiral Kirk in Star Trek The Motion Picture. And for all the shit the TMP uniforms get (I have mixed feelings) I really like the admiral's uniform.
