@padawancollector.bsky.social9 times out of 10... well maybe I'm exaggerating way too much, but a lot of the time when you are collecting vintage toys and dealing with sellers online who may not have the highest rating, you can expect sub-par packaging.
@padawancollector.bsky.socialThe vintage collecting experience.
When I finally collected my Slave I, made in 1981 by Kenner, it really brought home all the memories I had when I got this as a kid back in the early 80's. Its amazing how toys from our past can do that.

@padawancollector.bsky.socialClassic Toys From the 1980's...
The Slave I vehicle made in 1981 by Kenner for the Star Wars Empire Strikes Back line of toys. Today we are going over some of its features. Did you have this as a kid back in the day, and do you have it in your collection? Collectors, sound off!

@padawancollector.bsky.socialThe most common question I get is "Where did you get your vintage Star Wars action figure case?". Its from a company in the UK called Collector Displays. #vintagetoys #displayideas

@zavlap.bsky.socialA couple years back I was commissioned to do some reimagined color designs based on a vintage toy line. I went a little meta and used vintage toys as inspirations. Some of these are recognizable, some arent. #VintageToys #AdobePhotoshop #Illustration #ToyArt #80sToys #O-Ring #ActionFigures

@timewolf.bsky.socialFor #VintageToyTuesday is my original 1986 Inhumanoids D'Compose toy. Definitely my favorite of the 3 monsters.
Watched the cartoon and videotaped the show. Love it.
