FT Thoughts:
- New manager bounce?
- 4 goals from 4 different goalscorers is encouraging
- Pairings (Hansen-Tumeth, Longhurst-Bout) were strong
- Good clean sheet for Wulf; had a couple of strong saves in the match
- Back in 4th in NSL

#VanRiseFC

84' - SUB - Wright is on for Longhurst.

#VanRiseFC

73' - Huge save from Wulf. A rare ball getting through #VanRiseFC 's defensive line, but the keeper is up to the task.

67' - SUB - Yekka and Hansen are off.

Swaby and Oularbi are on.

#VanRiseFC

61' - SUB - Francois is off. Cowart is on.

#VanRiseFC

60' - GOAL - The #VanRiseFC keep coming!

Longhurst jumps on a box escaping the 18-yd box, and drives it through traffic into the net.

4-0 #VanRiseFC

58' - GOAL - Abdu drives into the 18-yard box from the left and powers home a hard, low shot past Dagenais!

3-0 #VanRiseFC

54' - GOAL - De Filippo, take a bow! Makes it look easy as the cross comes in from the left and the striker side-foots it into the net.

2-0 #VanRiseFC

HT Thoughts:
- Great time for Francois to get her 1st of the season
- Pante has looked dangerous on the left
- Midfield pairing of Longhurst and Bout; quietly effective in interrupting Rapid transitions
- Solid game from #VanRiseFC so far, but room to improve

43' - Abdu with such an amazing chance! Solid save from Dagenais. Pante's rebound goes over the bar.

#VanRiseFC

37' - Wulf comes up big with her first save of the afternoon from close range.

#VanRiseFC

31' - GOAL - Francois gets #VanRiseFC on the board!

Yekka crosses in from the right for Francois at the top of the 6-yd box. One touch and in.

23' - De Filippo wins the ball back in a dangerous spot at the top of the 18-yd box. Turns and shoots. Shot is just above the bar.

#VanRiseFC

16' - Pante's shot is into the side netting.

#VanRiseFC

15' - Great defensive play by Hansen to get back and cut off the cross.

#VanRiseFC

10' - Good early pressure from #VanRiseFC. Second phase of a Pante corner results in a quality chance at the far post, but just can't get it on target.

Game on!

#VanRiseFC

Wulf stays in goal.

Looks like a possible back 3 with Tumeth, Yekka and Hasen? We'll see.

#VanRiseFC

The Tides lost to the Wild yesterday, which means a win today would move #VanRiseFC into 4th in the NSL table and that coveted final playoff spot.

But Ottawa are desperate. They haven't won in 5 matches and have slipped out of top spot to 3rd.

Both clubs need this win.
