#QueerPrompts

Hello lovelies~

I'm Jin the kobold. I write mostly fantasy, and this month's focus is Thank You for Loving Me. #TY4LM is a queer coming of age story with fantasy elements set in Florida. It's complete in writing, but I'm currently working on turning it into a VN-styled audiostory~

Adapting a Visual Novel styling for #TY4LM means making nameplates for the cast! And nameplates means checking for readability as we decide the colour representing each character.

Once all the colours are picked and they're all white text legible, then it's the colourblind check~

#visualnovel

Horizontal purple rectangle with rounded corners. White text on the rectangle reads "Sample Text".

#WritingCommunity, describe your book poorly

Florida boy gets "would you still love me if I was a worm"'d, has queer awakening.

#Snippetshare #WritingQ

I had to try really hard to find a snip that wasn't Spoiler Central. Hopefully this is enough to pique some interest without giving up all the goods~🦈

I grabbed a second broom and made my way back out the window. Down on the courts, Marin had already set to sweeping the sand away at a pace that would be quick even for me. But she wasn’t breaking a sweat. I couldn’t understand what it was with these sisters. I had spent so much time with them, but I understood so little. Why were they here? Why was my father involved with them? Or the government for that matter? All this time, and I still kept those questions to myself. I’d gotten over the worry of accidentally mentioning I had seen them that day summers ago. Enough time had passed that it didn’t really matter anymore. But they hadn’t said anything about seeing me, either.
