Like the First season of #TNG was just as empty because of things behind the scenes.

The second half of S1 TNG was better as the writers got to actually write without silly boundaries.

Enterprise only gets good in last part of S2 really and by then they dug holes so deep story wise to be trapped.

In #StaTrekTNG's "Darmok"⬆️ the new wall ribbing on the inner wall of the Observation Lounge can be seen for the first time. Sadly gone are the golden Enterprise models from previous seasons of #TNG ("The Nth Degree"⬇️).
