Australia 2. Rare for me to do the multiple same-title gig. The computer just had a meltdown, printing an unending string of i's! I love this world and all that's in it! This pic is more agitated. #theferrisfiles #drawing #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Australia. I have never been and probably never will visit. I guess 2020 had severe wildfires? I cannot remember, but it has become universally applicable now. Egg and bacon sandwich for tea I think. #theferrisfiles #mixedmedia #drawing #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Away in a Manger. I had a very religiouss upbringing, and school had its own chapel. I rejected all that long ago. The church was good for my mother, and my ister is a vicar. #theferrisfiles #drawing #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Blank. The keyboard seems to have developed a mind of its own, doubling letters sometimes, omitting at others. the world si so perfect. This really is an image of Joe Public. Sad but true. #theferrisfiles #mycottenham #drawing #metaphorsaplenty

Babel. Not sure why I shouldm but will give you 3 pics today. Need to fit an hour or more in per day of my new discovery: Lingopie. Not perfect, but it stretches me. Now they are talking about entrance charge for London museums! #theferrisfiles #drawing #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham #frustration

Jan 2020. Approaching Rain. predictive image, almost. Today is going to be bad. I feel it in my bones. How the hell does anyone get through the days? But we do Miraculous. #theferrisfiles #drawing #mixedmedia #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Charon - sketch. Only posting one today. Far too busy. Retirement is supposed to be a time to ind down and relax. Yeah, right! But at least the exhaustion helps with deeper sleep! #theferrisfiles #metaphorsaplenty #mixedmedia #mycottenham

Blowpipe Boy. Part of the focus on the hero twins in Mayan mythology. Mexico seems such a long time ago now. It was 1982. Lee's funeral on Thursday made me think. He was only 39. Sad. #theferrisfiles #mixedmedia #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

Freudian Slippage. Have to finish the marathon rearranging of the house and garage to accommodate the new lodger. And my hands hurt badly this morning. The world is not my friend today. #theferrisfiles #mixedmedia #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

Reflecting Pool. Did this in 2020. Predictive imaging? Now X has a new 'prob;em,' demanding a phone number to cancel the total number of an action made in one day! Hacked, or just another piece of sh*t? #theferrisfiles #mixedmedia #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

Some of the 'source material' is beyond me now. What on earth was it when it started? Will have a crack at it later; tomorrow afternoon probably! It is string covered in some sort of caoting, waxy or resinous. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

OMG! I wish I had never started this. new cotenant. Wants space in the garage, so have pulled out boxes to be gone through. 3 hours working on it so far. I have held on to some rubbish. Sigh! #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty

Hathor. Packaging from a CowParade present. Forgot all about it, but going to paint it now, with a sort of Pasipae, I should think. Wasn't sure the photo would take, but it#s turned out multi-referential. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

Couple of days ago. Why had I never been before? Should be downstairs 'sorting out' the house ready for a new cotenant. I have so much art material which will never be used. Sigh. #theferrisfiles #metaphorsaplenty #ferrisphotos #Cambridge

Reconstruction. You're only getting one post today, as there's a dearth of notifications. My goodness, what a shallow type of interractor. Huge amounts of sorting out the house today. A mountain to climb! #theferrisfiles #drawing #metaphorsaplenty #mycottenham

Inigo Jones at the Wren Library. What an amazing place. My first visit if you can believe such a thing? The Trinity Apokalypse was my highlight. May have a funeral to go to today; still unclear. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #Cambridge #metaphorsaplenty

Some of the exhibits are a bit unsavoury. The Biology lab at school stank of formalin. I got the Prize in the VIth Form, but only passed by 4 marks! I was all over the palce at the time. #theferrisfiles #ferrisptos #metaphorsaplenty #Cambridge

A croc in the Zoology Museum. No notifications this morning, so only a brief posting. Sleep a struggle again. I have more or less quit napping, but it hasn't helped. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #museum #zoology #Cambridge

A subject common enough in my portfolio. Transience and permanence. Whitby again. Feeling very tired. Woke early, but it was a passing phase (if you see what I mean?). Painted a pic called 'Burial' yesterday. #theferrisfiles #ferrisphotos #metaphorsaplenty #nostalgia

Got a bit slack with the 'Post Art.' Started as purely a Pantone 100. I then did a second, then ended making postcard-sized pieces with no very coherent raison d'etre. Adding stickers now. #theferrisfiles #mixedmedia #postcards #mycottenham #metaphorsaplenty
