🚨 New research has found #TFA in the blood of 100% of people tested in Europe. The study also found the highest TFA serum levels ever recorded in humans.

These findings underline the urgent need to reduce #PFAS pollution at source, through wide reaching restrictions.

Eine neue Studie hat Urinproben in Deutschland erstmals auf #TFA analysiert – und die Ewigkeitschemikalie in allen Proben nachgewiesen.

Das ist auch insofern besorgniserregend, weil diese Belastung zusätzlich zur bereits vorhandenen Belastung mit anderen PFAS und weiteren Schadstoffen hinzukommt. Und wir wissen, dass sich die Wirkungen von einzelnen Chemikalien in ihren schädlichen Effekten gegenseitig verstärken können.

Wir brauchen endlich mehr Maßnahmen, um die Exposition zu minimieren und allem voran ein EU-weites Verbot der Ewigkeitschemikalien, um die Quellen von TFA und anderen PFAS zu stoppen.”
