A larger corvid is perched in three-quarter profile on a bare tree branch. The bird has a black head and neck, white belly, and black tail. Black-billed magpies (Pica hudsonia) have body lenths of 17.7-23.6 inches (45-60 cm), weigh 5.1-7.4 ounces (145-210 g), and have wingspans of 22.1-24.0 incehs (56-61 cm).
