9/19: Lil Beethoven
Themed track for today: "My Baby's Taking Me Home"
This wallpaper serves as a follow-up to my entry to prompt 14 where we continue on with the rainbow theme 🌈☔

🎻 "Lights out, Ibiza" More like lights on because the lifetime stretch of the catalog starts here! [18/25] #Sparkstember2026 #SAMateurHour #Sparkstember

Jour 19: LIL'BEETHOVEN
Les frères Mael créent leur propre label où ils pourront faire exploser leur créativité longtemps bridée.
A partir de cet album on entre non plus dans l'avant garde mais dans un univers parallèle où chaque piste est passionnante ! La preuve :

9/18: Balls
Themed track for today: "The Calm Before The Storm"
A mixed reference between today's song feature and the title track. Because thunderstorm clouds and balls. 'Nuff said.

Jour 18: BALLS
Les frères posent leurs balles sur la table et touchent leur bille dans cet album bigarré.
Cette piste sombre, auréolée d'une voix spectrale chantant la descente du 2ème mvt du Stabat mater de Rossini vous le prouvera mieux que moi.

9/17: Plagiarism
Themed track for today: "Funny Face"
Given the acoustic sound of this version, I opted for a campfire vibe for this wallpaper entry 😊

The album sequence has diverged from the canon I count for the first time. Enjoy this selection of my favorite covers of Sparks. #Sparkstember #Sparkstember2026 #SAMateurHour

Jour 16: GRATUITOUS SAX AND SENSELESS VIOLINS
Outre son titre hilarant, que de bon dans ce bel album!
Avec une préférence pour ce titre basé sur la réplique la plus poignante de "Autant en emporte le vent"

9/16: Gratuitous Sax and Senseless Violins
Themed track for today: "Let's Go Surfing"
The best pre-closing track to top all pre-closing tracks! 'Nuff said.
Something to get ahead for next Summer 🌞

This whole album came out in '94, my birth year lol

9/15: Bonus Entry
In memory of Catherine Ringer (1957-2026) and Fred Chichin (1954-2007), aka the duo Les Rita Mitsouko, who I got into via Sparks.
A multi reference to "Singing In The Shower" and "A Walk Down Memory Lane"

9/15: Interior Design
Themed track for today: "So Important"
Who is the person in your life that's so important to you...
right now?

@sparksofficial.bsky.social

🧳 HOP. ON. BOARD. FOR. LOVE-O-RAAMAAAA! It's a "so important" day in #Sparkstember since we've reached my beloved album! [15/25] #Sparkstember2026 #SAMateurHour

Jour 15: INTERIOR DESIGN
Ca fait plusieurs jours que je suis hanté par la progression d'accords de cette chanson mélancolique, qui fait pétiller le champagne que nous avions demandé et qu'on ne nous servira jamais...

#Sparkstember2026
Ben j'aurais pas cru que ça me rendrait triste de poster un cross-over #Sparks / #RitaMitusko 😞
Bon dernier voyage, #CatherineRinger
