I need a shirt/shirtwaist to round out my party 'fit. Got the body done other than the buttons and holes, so sleeves are next, then the detached collar. Im glad I decided to sew the back darts inside out and make lacing strips out of them, I think that's my favorite detail so far. #sewsky

I finished my newsboy cap! I decided to add a hat band after wearing it for a bit as the pattern was written and found that I prefer the fit with one. I did, however have to make it twice since the first one was a tiny bit too tight and would have given me a headache. #sewsky

Scamp insisted on helping me get pictures. I love that with the pattern the cap can be worn both ways, and I'm still deciding if I want to add magnets, snaps or just let it be loose. Still have another night worth of sewing, but Im loving how it's coming out. #catsky #sewsky

I'm waiting for shirt fabric to come in and remembered that I wanted to make a newsboy cap to match a wool coat I made. I had some perfectly sized scraps from that lining to cut out the cap lining too. Got the lining hand sewn together and Tajin came to snuggle and model for y'all. #sewsky #catsky
